Who does AI recommend in your town?
Somebody, and across the runs we have stored it leans toward whoever has the loudest footprint on the web rather than the best business nearby. Chains, the biggest advertisers, and occasionally a business that no longer exists. We ask for real trades in real NYC and Long Island towns and keep the receipts. Pick yours and read the answer it actually gave.
The receipt below is read from a stored run for that trade and town, not from a fresh guess. For the whole market, the AI Visibility Index lists the named businesses and the method for every trade and town measured so far, and the AI search page explains what moves an assistant to name a business at all, and how to get found on ChatGPT gives the steps in order.
Want us to look at your own website?
An assistant reads your site before it names you. Text us the address from your own phone and a person opens it the way a customer does, then texts back what is in the way. Or check your Google listing right here, read live.
It opens a text to (917) 397-0493 on your phone. Add the address and send.

The numbers above are the market. The free snapshot is about you: the engine samples the assistants fresh for your business, with web search on, and I reply personally with who got named, where you stand, and the first things to fix.
Questions owners ask
How do you know who AI recommends?
We ask the assistants the way a customer would, with web search turned on, for a real trade in a real town, and we record which businesses each answer names. We ask more than once, because the same question can come back with different names on different days, and a single answer is not a finding. Every run is stored with its date and its exact wording.
Why does the answer change from one day to the next?
Because the assistant is not reading a fixed list. It searches the web at the moment you ask, reads a handful of pages, and writes an answer from whatever it found. A profile updated yesterday, a review posted this morning, or a directory page that loaded slowly can all change who gets named. That is why the receipt shows a sample rather than a ranking.
Why is my business never named, even with good reviews?
The assistant does not know your work. It knows what the web says about you: your Google Business Profile, your reviews and how recent they are, your listings on the directories it happens to read, and whether your own website states plainly what you do and where. When those are thin or disagree with each other, the assistant reaches for a business whose record is clearer, and it will do that no matter how good you are.
How do I find out where my own business stands?
Send your business name and town in the form above. The engine samples the assistants fresh for you, with web search on, checks your profile, reviews and listings beside them, and you get a personal reply with who got named, where you sit, and the first things to fix. It is free and there is nothing to install.
