Half your marketing works. This is which half
Somebody calls and books a job. Was that the map pack, the ad, the review you replied to, or the van somebody saw on the parkway? Without tracking, the honest answer is that nobody knows, and the budget gets spread evenly across things that are not working evenly.
For anyone spending on more than one thing at once
A business running ads and organic search at the same time, with no way to tell them apart.
Anyone about to cut a budget line and unsure which one is actually carrying the work.
A business where the phone is the conversion, so web analytics alone tells you almost nothing.
Not for: businesses with one source of inquiries and no plan to add another. If every call comes from the same place, you already know what works.
What the call tracking dashboard shows
A tracked number that keeps yours
Calls route through and land on your existing phone. Your published number stays your number and nothing about answering changes.
Where the call came from
Map pack, organic search, an ad, the website or a printed source, attached to each call rather than guessed at afterwards.
Calls that were missed, marked
Counted separately, because a missed call is a lost job and it does not show up anywhere else.
Form and chat inquiries beside them
The same page, so a month reads as one number of inquiries rather than three you have to add up.
Recordings where you want them
Optional, and off unless you ask. Where they are on, the greeting says so, because that is the law and it is also the decent thing.
A monthly email in plain english
What came in, from where, what was missed. No dashboard you have to remember to log into, though the page is there when you want it.
One number, then one page
-
A number is provisioned
Routed to your real phone. Carrier registration is filed at the same time so texting works too.
-
Sources are labeled
Your listing, your site and any ads get their own attribution, so a call can be traced back to one of them.
-
Read it monthly, move the money
The point is not the page. The point is cutting the line that is not working and putting it on the one that is.
Common questions
- Does my phone number change?
- No. Call tracking here means a tracked number sitting in front of each source being measured, forwarding to the same handset. The number people already have keeps working, and what customers see on your listing does not change.
- Will this hurt my Google ranking?
- Not when it is done properly. Your listing keeps your real number as its primary, which is the one Google matches against citations elsewhere. Swapping that out is the mistake that causes the problem people warn about.
- Are calls recorded?
- Only if you ask for it, and when it is on the greeting says so. New York is a one-party consent state and we still announce it, because a customer finding out later is worse than the recording is useful.
- What does the call and lead dashboard cost?
- $49 a month on its own, and it is included inside Get Found at $500 a month. Every price is on the pricing page with the arithmetic already done, rather than behind a call.
